A world premier! The work of art Glashütte Original Grande Cosmopolite Tourbillon presented live in a HD-video
This is truly the first video made by a journalist of the new masterpiece from the Saxon manufacturer that packs the world and its 37 time zones into precisely 8.72 cubic centimeters and straps it onto the traveller’s wrist.
As reported HERE I was in Glashütte last week and I had the opportunity to get a private presentation of the “Grande Cosmopolite Tourbillon”. I only saw the watch for some minutes before at the Baselworld 2012 in March and this brief presentation was just good enough to get a first impression of all it´s various functions.
Besides the pictures I already posted HERE last Thursday I made a HD-video for you. I now hope that the video and my comments are able to give you an insight view of the “Grande Cosmopolite Tourbillon”.
Please share these thrilling moments with me I had whilst filming and explaining the watch for you.
Believe me, even as a professional you get a little nervous when you are suppose to talk about a wristwatch that embodies so many technical features and that costs 325.000 Euros. I had the spontaneous idea to film the watch and the OK from Glashütte Original to allow me to do so was given to me just the same day. So I had no time to prepare myself more than I did while following the private presentation of the Grande Cosmopolite Tourbillon some minutes before. These moments are challenging, rare and they are special…
